The next in our ‘Lunch and A Lecture’ series takes place on Tuesday 13th. In ‘The Seaside Garden’ we will be discussing preparing the ground, assessing the local conditions, coping with wind and salt, creating shelter, a seaside design, ground cover, seaside proof plants – choosing the right plant for the right place. Tickets are £35 per person to include a light lunch, a lecture and private garden tour. Buy tickets. Our Estate Shop will also be open to purchase estate produce. Film Screening, Thursday October 15th at 7pm-
Deborah Koons Garcia, whose film ‘Future of Food’ got the GMO Labelling movement motivated, will present her acclaimed new documentary ‘Symphony of the Soil’. The film helped launch the United Nation’s Year of the Soil and explores how the future of humankind largely depends on how well we maintain the health and vitality of soil. Tickets cost £10 and are available HERE. All proceeds to Slow Food Sussex. THERE WILL BE A Q&A SESSION AFTER THE FILM WITH DEBORAH.
HIPCC Autumn Recital, Saturday 31st October 3pm-
The Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition’s Prizewinners’ Autumn Recital takes place in our recital room with 2014 Competition Winner Taek Gi Lee. Tickets are £15 including Cream Tea available HERE. Grounds open at 2.30 pm, Concert starts at 3pm.
